Top Attractions
Bhatsa River Valley
The crown jewel of Igatpuri. A 15 km valley with the Bhatsa river winding between forested hills. During monsoon, waterfalls line every hillside. In winter it's peaceful with reflective pools and emerald meadows.
Tringalwadi Fort Trek
A 2-hour moderate trek to a medieval hill fort with a Hemadpanthi temple. Views over the valley are spectacular. Best attempted October–February.
Vaitarna Lake
A large dam and reservoir 20 km from Igatpuri. Migratory birds arrive November–January. Boating is permitted on weekends. Peaceful picnic spot.
Camel Valley (Unda)
