Clear and fair refund terms for subscriptions processed through Razorpay on WeekendWander.
Scope of This Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs payments made through Razorpay on the WeekendWander platform. Currently, Razorpay processes subscription-based payments only — such as premium memberships or pro plans for travellers, agencies, or staycation providers.
This policy does not cover informal arrangements between users and travel agencies or staycation providers — those are governed by the individual provider's own cancellation terms.
Subscription Refunds
WeekendWander subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Razorpay.

Renewal charges (for subsequent billing cycles) are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future charges — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refund Eligibility
A refund may be approved if:
- You were charged incorrectly or charged twice for the same subscription.
- The subscription did not activate or your account was not upgraded despite successful payment.
- A technical error on our platform caused the payment failure but still deducted funds.
- You cancelled within the eligible refund window stated above.
- The service was materially different from what was described at time of purchase.
Refunds will not be granted for change of mind after 72 hours, partial use of a subscription period, or if your account was suspended due to a policy violation.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:

Send an email to hello@weekendwander.in with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]".

Include details
Provide your registered email, Razorpay Payment ID (found in your payment confirmation email), and the reason for the refund request.

Wait for review
Our team will review your request within 3 business days and respond with an update.

Refund processed
Approved refunds are initiated to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Refund Timeline
- Credit / Debit Cards: 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.
- UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days.
- Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.): 1–3 business days.
- EMI transactions: Refunds are processed to the card; your bank may take additional time to adjust EMI instalments.
Timelines are subject to your bank's processing time and may vary. If you do not receive your refund within the stated period, please contact us with your transaction ID.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Subscription renewal charges after the first billing cycle.
- Partially used subscription periods.
- Subscriptions cancelled after the eligible refund window (7 days from first charge).
- Accounts suspended or terminated due to Terms & Conditions violations.
- Platform convenience fees or transaction charges levied by Razorpay.
Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or wish to dispute a transaction, please contact us first at hello@weekendwander.in before initiating a chargeback with your bank.
Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension. We take fraud seriously and will cooperate with Razorpay and banking institutions to resolve genuine disputes fairly.
