Beaches in Alibaug
Alibaug Beach (Town Beach)
The main beach, walkable from town. Good for evening strolls, horse rides, and watching the sunset over Kolaba Fort. Can get crowded on weekends.
Kihim Beach
7 km north of Alibaug. Lined with casuarina trees, much quieter. Best for peaceful walks and birdwatching. No commercial activity.
Nagaon Beach
10 km north. Wide sandy stretch with water sports operators. Jet skiing, banana boat rides, and beach shacks serving fresh fish.
Varsoli Beach
Between Alibaug and Kihim. Clean, less visited, good for morning walks. Some beach shacks open on weekends.
Kolaba Fort
The fort was built by Shivaji Maharaj in the 17th century. Situated on a small island just offshore, it's one of the most photogenic spots in the Konkan.
Access:
